Member Club-Updates: Email List

The club sends out information related to events, Member meetings, forms, and other communications via Membership Club-Updates. If you are not receiving information, please make sure you’re registered for this feature. Instructions are here. Your information is deleted from the email list if your membership lapses. The list is not to be used for commercial purposes.

  • There are TWO mailing lists. Public and Membership. The signup option on our Main Website page is the Public Sign-up. Membership signup is within the Membership Space on our site.

NDTC Accounts: currently, there are three types of Accounts.

  1. Public: everyone (public and membership) must have an account on our site before classes can be purchased.  Creating an account, does not make you a member.

  1. Club Member: After you are voted in as an accepted member, the Membership Chair moves your account into the Club Member classification.

    1. Club Member Classification: allows you to make ring reservations, and access the documents section of our website.  An account does not sign you up for emailed club-updates.

  2. Special Considerations:  Club Members who are identified eligible for Early Registration Privileges.

General Members - do NOT get the early registration privileges. If you are interested in becoming a teacher or assisting a class, please notify either the Training Director, or another teacher.  All Teachers are volunteers and will be happy to mentor you until you’re comfortable leading your own classes.  Board Member – If you are interested in becoming a board member, all ‘job descriptions’ are posted on our website and any current Board Member will be glad to chat with you.

Discount Codes: Discount codes are NOT issued until you have fulfilled the requirements of teaching or assisting. If you have earned a personal code, the code will stay with you until your membership lapses. Each session you ‘earn’ class credits, the number of credits is added to your code. The title of your code may change from year to year for record keeping purposes, but the code itself doesn’t.

Member Discounts

After teaching or assisting with classes, you will receive a code that can be entered into our online system for registering for a class. The cost of the classes will automatically be discounted when you use that code. Please complete check-out of one class at a time if you plan on attending several during one session.

•Club members who volunteer at least 15 hours per year may take classes at a discounted rate. Membership discounted rates are 50% of class fees. Some classes may be exempt from receiving discounts.

• After Members teach one 6-week class, they receive 2 free 6-week class, redeemable within 12 months.

• After Members assist with two classes, can receive 1 free class, redeemable within 12 months.

• Members who serve on the board of directors receive 12 free classes for each year of service, starting at the beginning of the first year of service. For instance: a board member serving one year would receive two years of benefit, their board year and one additional year.

Exempt Classes: The General Membership Discount code must be used to register for these classes at 50% off. Lifetime Member, Teachers, Assistant, and Board Member discount codes are NOT valid for these classes.

  • Puppy Kindergarten

  • Basic Obedience - Level 1

  • CGC - Canine Good Citizen

  • Beginning Agility

Registration:

  • Multiple classes: each class you want to sign up for must be performed as a single purchase. Please complete check-out of one class at a time if you plan on attending several during one session.

  • Multiple dogs: each dog you want to take a class with must be done as a single purchase.

  • NDTC Waiver: must be signed and returned each registration

  • Proof of Rabies Vaccination: must be returned for each dog each registration

Early Registration: Early registration is reserved for Lifetime Members, previous and current year Board Members.

  • Teachers and/or Assistants must complete teaching or assisting classes before they receive class codes and early registration privileges. Information about teachers/assistants is compiled from the Training Director records and validated by the Secretary each session. Once validated, information is provided to Machelle who adds the appropriate number of class credits.

Contact Website Menu Option: link is attached to the ContactNashvilleDog Email box. This email box is NOT monitored routinely. If you wish to communicate with someone specifically, or need immediate assistance, reach out to that person directly.  You will find a complete list of NDTC Members PDF document under the Documents Section of our website.  DO NOT share anyone’s personal information with anyone outside of our club members.

Posting an event is different from notifying the club.

  • Events for other clubs historically are not publicized on our Events Page.

  • We do send Board approved electronic notifications to our club-update subscribers (members) for happenings within the Murfreesboro Club
