Nashville Dog Training Club is an affiliate of the American Kennel Club (AKC). It welcomes dogs of all breeds as well as mixed breeds. All board members, instructors, and support personnel are volunteers whose goal is to help you train your dog to be a rewarding member of your family.

Founded in 1960 and staffed by experienced volunteers, Nashville Dog Training Club is the only AKC-licensed agility, obedience, tracking and lure coursing club in the metropolitan Nashville area.

NDTC can help if you want to

  • Socialize your puppy
  • Get help with housebreaking, chewing, etc.
  • Teach your dog house manners, control, and basic pet training
  • Discover new ways to have fun with your dog
  • Earn a Canine Good Citizen title for your pet
  • Learn "silly pet tricks"

The Nose Knows!
A dog's nose is amazing! Are you interested in Nose Work? This indoor class is a possibility for our summer schedule. It is not like tracking but is equally fun and amazing. Please contact the Training Directors if you are interested. They can make it happen!
Calling All Rally Enthusiasts!
Would you like to see a Rally class on NDTC's new shorter summer schedule? Call your Rally buddies. If there's enough interest we'll offer a summer class. Contact the Training Directors if you'd like to take this class.
Competition Novice
Working on your CD title? There is a new drop-in Competition Novice class on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM.
Attention Class on Saturdays
There will be an eight week Attention class on Saturdays during the summer session.
New Five Week classes for Summer
Two new 5 week classes have added to the summer schedule. Why not try something different and fun? There's a new Clicks And Tricks class and an Introduction to Carting class offered on Tuesday nights.
