NASHVILLE DOG TRAINING CLUB

Nashville Dog Training Club is an affiliate of the American Kennel Club (AKC). It welcomes dogs of all breeds as well as mixed breeds. All board members, instructors, and support personnel are volunteers whose goal is to help you train your dog to be a rewarding member of your family.

Founded in 1960 and staffed by experienced volunteers, Nashville Dog Training Club is the only AKC-licensed agility, obedience, and tracking club in the metropolitan Nashville area.

NDTC can help if you want to

  • Socialize your puppy
  • Get help with housebreaking, chewing, etc.
  • Teach your dog house manners, control, and basic pet training
  • Discover new ways to have fun with your dog
  • Earn a Canine Good Citizen title for your pet
  • Learn "silly pet tricks"
  • Get involved in competitive dog sports
  • Learn obedience, agility, tracking, or herding

NDTC Meetings on Summer Hiatus
The club will take a break from monthly meetings this summer, resuming the fourth Monday meetings in the fall on September 27th.

Heeling Classes Resume in Fall
The Heeling Class is on vacation until the first Wednesday in October (7PM), unless we have an unusually cool September.

Conformation Classes Take Summer Break
There will be no drop-in Conformation classes during the summer after Monday, June 14. Classes will resume on September 13 (the Monday after Labor Day.)

Did you know you can put your cursor right on the registration and membership forms and start typing? Fill it out, then just print, SIGN and drop off or mail to NDTC. You can also save the filled-out form for future use.
